Lockdown One has been and gone. Tours and concerts with Goldfrapp and Above and Beyond rescheduled to 2021. These are crazy times for musicians ...work literally disappearing in from of our eyes. But amazing news ! A call from a good friend...are we available for some promo work with Ellie Goulding...Absolutley Definitley ! Thankyou !
The work turned out to be such a wonderful tonic, beautiful string arrangements from Matt Robertson and gorgeous new songs from EG made it such a great experience. The girls in the quartet were Sarah Daramy- Williams, Amy Stanford and Alex Marshall. Such a great group and we navigated all the new Covid-19 procedures, masks at all times apart from when playing, temperature checks and social distancing at all times ; Not even hugging my sister Amy whilst at work. But it was all worth it....a few days of rehearsals and then straight into recording live for Good Morning America and the One Show . Later on we recorded 3 songs for VEVO with some fantastic futuristic video artwork. All in all such a great way to work, with friends and with such a talented artist.
